Service Engineer

Our client, a leading door technology company, is currently looking for an enthusiastic Service Engineer. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Maintenance and repair of various doors such as manual doors, fire doors, automatic doors and hermetic doors.
• On a daily basis, you will visit customers at various locations, where you will advise on the most effective solutions for repairs and ensure optimal door operation and safety.
• You communicate both internally and externally about wear and possible defects and support the administrative team in preparing quotations.
• If necessary, you will also discuss offers and interventions with the client.

• Technical degree (preferably electromechanics) and/or several years of relevant experience as a Service Engineer or similar position.
• Good technical knowledge of maintenance and electromechanical systems. Knowledge of door automation is a plus.
• Be able to work independently and maintain smooth communication with customers.
• Flexible and willing to take on tasks outside the comfort zone.
• Eager to learn, enthusiastic and collegial.
• Good written and oral communication in Dutch. Knowledge of French is a plus.
• In possession of a class B driving licence.
