Service Engineer

In this role, you will mainly perform work at customers in Belgium, the Netherlands and (Northern) France, but you may also be deployed in Southern Europe and Asia. You will work with a team of service technicians and supervisors and report to the service manager.

Core activities:

• Performing inspections and preventive maintenance will be your main day job. This includes carrying out scheduled inspections according to checklists, informing customers about the condition of their installations, initiating improvement proposals and preparing reports.
• Perform corrective maintenance, retrofits and activation where you will resolve faults independently and restore safe conditions. Address complex issues and escalate as required.
• Installation and delivery of new projects where you will collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to work on the installation and delivery of new systems. Occasionally, you will also provide training to customers.
• Technical administrative tasks such as updating checklists and documentation. But also preparing sites and supporting internal production department.

• Safety is paramount in every task. Compliance with safety procedures and correct use of protective equipment are essential.
• Possession or attainment of a VCA diploma is required.
• Proactive attitude and self-starting ability.
• Technical training with relevant experience.
• In possession of driving licence B.
• No fear of heights.
• Good command of the Dutch language and willingness to communicate in French.
