Safety Engineer

As a safety engineer, your duties will be as follows:

• you are the driving force behind the development of effective measures/procedures that make machinery and work equipment as safe and sustainable as possible
• You will be responsible for maintaining legal documentation and ensuring compliance with all European/national (technical) standards and inspection regulations. This involves everything from carrying out risk analyses to drafting practical guidelines for in-house staff
• you will also support various departments in audits and quality procedures
• In addition, you are not afraid to sink your teeth into the task of assisting the Homologation Engineer with the standardisation and homologation of our agricultural machinery. In doing so, you will maintain close contact with external inspection bodies to ensure that the machines are approved in time and comply with all regulations. In doing so, you will prepare the technical files.

As a safety engineer, you preferably meet:

• you are an enthusiastic team player with a keen eye for safety, sustainability and quality
• you have a Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering Science, (electro)mechanics, design and production technology, automotive technology or are equivalent through experience
• you are a true perfectionist you have a penchant for structure and quality
• you are not afraid to get your hands dirty and get to the bottom of things to understand everything in detail
• you have a good knowledge of Dutch and French
• you are a communicative jack-of-all-trades who dares to take initiative and has a solution-oriented mindset
• Agricultural vehicles are your second love, then you are the perfect match!
