As R&D Product Engineer Light at this company, you will be responsible for developing innovative lighting products for the entertainment sector. For this, you will work together with the senior Product engineer. Besides developing new products, you will also be responsible for optimising existing products. In this process, you will come into contact with optics, electronics, electrical and mechanical safety, design and software.

• Design and development of new lighting products and systems
• Selecting components and suppliers
• Developing prototypes
• Making adjustments to existing systems and products
• Monitoring production at manufacturers in China
• Collaborating with the internal quality department
• Collaborating with R&D engineers in the US and UK

This company develops and manufactures lighting for the entertainment industry. The company originated 35 years ago in America, where it is now the market leader. The European department can be found in Kruisem. Here they do not have their own production, but an R&D team, repair service, quality control, sales and all support services. We are looking for a driven R&D Product Engineer Light with:

• A bachelor's or master's degree within electronics/electricity or equivalent through experience
• Lighting development experience
• A first experience in monitoring electronics production
• Very good knowledge of the English language
