Quality manager

You will be responsible for further developing, communicating, maintaining, monitoring, reporting and improving the care systems regarding quality, food safety and hygiene. Together with the quality team, you will ensure that finished products meet high quality requirements and that legal obligations are met.

- Preparation and management of the BRC & hygiene manual;

- Coordinator of the HACCP team;

- Preparation of necessary management reporting;

- Manage product specifications and advise on product development;

- Follow-up and application of legislation where necessary;

- Supervising external audits and controls and conducting internal audits;

- Management of the quality control system in collaboration with the quality control team;

- Follow-up and investigation of quality complaints, adjusting where necessary and communicating this to the customer, supplier and/or staff;

- Continuous optimisation of processes and practices;

- Motivate, sensitise and train staff on applicable procedures (quality, food safety and hygiene)

- Ensuring that quality, safety and environmental regulations are followed and calling colleagues to account for violations, changes and problems;

- You will take care of the administration of the quality department(assurance).

- You have a bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in a food-related field or equivalent through experience;

- You have knowledge of applicable food safety laws and regulations and are familiar with quality standards such as IFS and BRC (Halal, Kosher , Bio, Fairtrade, Rainforest and ACS guide are an advantage);

- You can look back on at least 5 years' experience within a quality function; plus management experience is quality management system and management experience, which may lead to the quality manager role;

- You have knowledge of the Office packages (experience with SAP or Navision is an advantage);

- You are highly motivated to master the coffee roasting and packaging process and continuously improve quality;

- You can express yourself fluently in English because of the strongly export-oriented activities (German and French are an advantage);

- You can motivate people through your pragmatic approach;

- Through your alert, proactive approach and standardisation of work, you prevent quality problems;

- You are flexible, stress-resistant and have the necessary sense of responsibility.
