Quality Engineer

As a Quality Engineer, you will have an exciting, varied and challenging job, including the following responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the coordination, handling and follow-up of customer complaints for both surface treatment and logistics processes. 
  
  
• When the goods arrive, you assess the test results and ensure their release 
  
  
• You will be responsible for updating quality figures and discuss these with the operational team on a daily basis 
  
  
• You participate in the daily production meeting
  
  
• You develop quality training courses for the operators
  
  
• You will work closely with the Quality manager and create improvement projects on the site together
  
  
• You perform internal audits and conduct tours in production to improve the quality of our products and processes
  
  
• You are responsible for ISO 9001 certification and draw up actions to maintain it
  
  
• You have regular contact with internal and external customers within the company, as well as suppliers.

Who are you?

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree with a technical and/or operational background
  
  
• You have a demonstrable affinity with quality 
  
  
• You have knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard or are willing to learn it
  
  
• You are highly communicative and are good at talking to colleagues's about areas for improvement
  
  
• You are willing to be present on the shop floor when needed
  
  
• You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and English
