Function

As Quality engineer you will be the key figure in ensuring product quality within the production environment. You will mainly be responsible for preparing documentation and ensuring that all production procedures are followed.

  • You ensure quality according to customer requirements and procedures, including compliance with guidelines and QM systems (IATF)
  • You draft work instructions and inspection plans
  • You create PPAPs (PSW, CP, FMEA, PFD,...)
  • You implement actions in case of deviations, inspect and improve the status of the quality system and report weekly and monthly on QM activities
  • You plan, coordinate and perform internal/external quality audits and FMEAs
  • You manage QM documentation and guide employees in achieving quality goals and needs. That means you non-conformities follows up and contributes to solutions
  • You will support in carrying out quality checks and ensure the release of products for shipment if required
  • You support the follow-up of APQPs

Profile

Our ideal quality engineer has:

  • Experience in the plastics industry (or possibly metal sector)
  • An engineering degree (Industrial Engineer Mechanical Engineering)
  • Knowledge of measuring benches
  • Command of the Dutch language, English is a plus
