HVAC project leader
Function
Within the project department, we are looking for an (experienced) project leader for industrial refrigeration and HVAC projects. As a project leader, you will work closely with a project manager and the engineering department.
You are the point of contact for the customer or client and conduct the technical negotiations, with the main objective of completing the project within budget and on time. You will work in a team of other project leaders and project managers. In this independent position, you will mainly work on site, but also regularly at the head office in Herentals.
Tasks
- Checking and approving the engineering package.
- Preparing the works so that they can be carried out efficiently on the site.
- Monitor the planning and budget, in order to execute the project on time and within budget.
- Requesting quotes and negotiating price and delivery time.
- Order materials on time and follow up on deliveries.
- Managing internal and external technicians + Providing technical support to technicians.
- Monitor project progress and quality of end result + manage additional work.
- Monthly reporting to the project management.
Profile
- A Bachelor's degree (in Air Conditioning/Electromechanics), or equivalent through experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience as project manager of refrigeration & HVAC projects
