For the vacancy of Project Leader Signalisation in the Brussels region, you will go through all phases of a project, including the following tasks:

• Contacting customers to make a pre-calculation/offer
• Estimation of required staff and qualifications
• Search for possible subcontractors
• Looking for and contacting good and reliable suppliers. This in consultation with the purchasing department
• You are responsible, together with the site manager, for determining the work method(s) and organising the kick-off
• The preparation of monthly and long-term planning of materials and people
• As a project manager, you work closely with site managers and you are aware of the day-to-day running of projects
• You are responsible for timely and correct invoicing, for compiling the as-built file and for timely invoice control of customers and suppliers.
• You are responsible for the subsequent costing of your project so that you have a good idea of the actual cost of the contracting

Due to the influx of projects, our client is looking for an additional project manager for the Brussels and Wallonia region. 

To carry out the job as Project Leader Signalisation, you have these skills:

• You are an engineer or bachelor, preferably in architecture or electromechanics
• You already have experience as a project manager; initial experience and knowledge of the railway world are an asset, but not a must
• You are flexible, so you will also have to go to the shipyards at night.
• You have an efficient commercial attitude and project management skills
• You are solution oriented, constructive, stress resistant and have a positive attitude
• You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and French
• You are willing to travel to sites in the Brussels and Wallonia region
