Supervisor Mechanics

As Supervisor Mechanics you are responsible for the operational management of the machine building and mechanical construction. You ensure that the machines function optimally, taking into account the resources and the agreed budget, while also taking into account the quality requirements and SHEQ regulations.

Tasks:

• Organising work planning as efficiently as possible and focusing on preventive, mechanical and regular maintenance.
• Organising inspection-related maintenance and repair works.
• Drawing up an action plan for future maintenance work.
• Drawing up a proper work plan for the maintenance work during the annual machine shutdown.
• Achieving predefined objectives.

Our client produces and supplies everyday materials made from renewable raw materials based on wood fibres worldwide. They focus on sustainable processes and products and are building a more circular economy.

Their raw materials (e.g. soluble pulp, wood pulp, biomaterials and wood) and end products (packaging paper, specialty paper, graphic paper, moulded and release paper and forestry products) are made from wood fibres originating from sustainably managed forests and plantations, in production facilities that are often powered by bio-energy from steam and existing waste streams.

• You preferably have a Bachelor's degree in a technical direction and have built up extensive knowledge and experience of mechanics (basic knowledge of electromechanics).
• You dare to take a critical look at operational processes and make improvements here as well.
• Communication is a strength, also in English and German.
• You dare to take quick and correct decisions in order to achieve the right results.
• A positive working atmosphere is important to you, so you motivate, stimulate and coach your team.
• Analysing and solving problems is daily business. Your stress resistance will come in handy here.
• You can work fluently with SAP and are accurate in entering data.
