Process Engineer

At start-up, you will be guided through all processes in the production environment with the help of internal training and support in order to subsequently start your position as Process Engineer. 

• You take operational control of the technical processes.
• In doing so, you collaborate with colleagues from other departments to ensure continuity. 
• You are the operators' point of contact in case of problems and thus try to think along with them in a solution-oriented way. 
• You are a key point of contact within the production environment when it comes to technical aspects and processes. 
• You will also ensure that all machines are operational and functioning properly. 
• You also ensure that sufficient investment is made in knowledge so that it can be reinforced for all colleagues in the department.  

Who are we looking for for this Process Engineer position?

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in electromechanics.
• You have a hands-on attitude and are willing to be in the production environment among the operators on a regular basis to listen to them. 
• You already have a knowledge of certain metal processes and techniques. 
• Knowledge of quality or process improvement techniques such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen is a definite asset.
• You mainly work in a day shift, but if necessary you are flexible to also work in other shifts. 
• You have an analytical mind.
• You are a people manager who can motivate colleagues and also problem-solve with them. 
• In this job, you will work with various parties including quality, production, suppliers,... 
• You are fluent in communication.
