Product Development Engineer

Job description:

• Designing and developing new products and improvements to existing products
• Perform technical analysis and testing to ensure product performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
• Documenting product designs, specifications and test results
• Supporting production processes and quality control
• Keeping abreast of technological trends and innovations in the industry
• Contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives

Job requirements:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, product development, electromechanics or a related field
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in product development
• Experience with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Team player with a proactive and independent working attitude
• Knowledge of production techniques and choice of materials
