Health, quality and safety are central to this role. The organisation is looking for an HSE Coordinator who contributes to the Zero-Harm mindset and is looking for a new challenge within facility services.

As HSE Coordinator for a pharmaceutical client, you are responsible for the timely reporting of safety activities at various sites in Belgium, as well as the coordination of internal and external HSE projects. You will be part of an international QHSE team and work closely with colleagues worldwide, translating the global strategy to the Belgian customer.


The range of tasks is diverse and challenging. The HSE Coordinator will include:


  • Ensure health and safety reporting within the client's scope.
  • Perform internal safety checks, safety checks and monitor GMP procedures, making adjustments where necessary.
  • Conduct risk analysis and incorporate findings into systems.
  • Manage various contracts and projects and be responsible for manuals and work instructions.
  • Prepare work permits and support medical examinations and checks for employees.
  • Maintain safety and instruction cards for chemical products and work equipment.
  • Being the point of contact for safety questions in the workplace.
  • Conduct internal audits (both GMP and ISO 45001) and support management in external audits.
  • Follow up accidents and non-conformities and report incidents according to procedures.
  • Ensuring a risk-free working environment, without compromising on safety.

Profile

  • A level 2 prevention advisor certificate.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree.
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years' experience in HSE, with knowledge of ISO 9001 and 45001.
  • Experience with GMP processes in a pharmaceutical environment.
  • Willing to travel occasionally to other locations in Belgium.
  • Excellent social and communication skills.
  • Language skills in Dutch and English, French is a plus.
  • Team spirit and a "One Team" mentality.
