Operations Manager

As Operational Manager, you are responsible for coordinating all work in the workshop. This involves overseeing the whole process, knowing who sits where and what is happening, and which people you work with. People management is crucial here. You will be working with many young people just out of school, where it is important to be patient and communicate effectively. Although technical knowledge is necessary, you don't have to be able to do everything perfectly yourself. You will ask the right questions to ensure that procedures are followed and work closely with team leaders and shop floor staff.

• Coordinate the ongoing process of engine repair.
• Managing your own team and the flow process between different departments (planner, buyer, etc.).
• Assess staff and parts, including hiring workers and job interviews.
• Determining training needs and coaching leadership.
• Participation in audits (at least once a year).
• Assisting customers in collecting their motorbikes and explaining the work.
• Monitor safety and quality systems and cooperate with the prevention advisor.
• Networking and occasionally visiting clients.

• Technical degree or equivalent experience
• Strong people management skills
• Good communication and empathy skills
• Affinity with technical processes
• Ability to provide patient and coaching leadership
• Experience with quality and safety systems
