Customer advisor banking and insurance

Your responsibilities:

• You will be the first point of contact for customers and build strong, long-term relationships.
• You will advise customers on a variety of banking and insurance products and help them make the right choices.
• With your broad basic knowledge of all areas within the bank, you ensure that customers are referred to the right specialists in a timely manner.
• You identify commercial opportunities, take the initiative to actively approach customers and invite them for consultations.
• You stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the financial sector, especially in the field of digitalisation, and share this knowledge with both clients and colleagues's.

In this versatile role, you will learn all aspects of banking and insurance. You will advise customers on various products, such as loans, investments and insurance, and build strong relationships. This broad experience allows you to discover which field appeals most to you and gives you the opportunity to specialise in a direction of your choice over time.

To get started as a Customer Advisor within this bank, we are looking for someone who can identify with the following characteristics:

• Ideally, you will have at least a bachelor's degree or have already built up experience in the banking and insurance sector.
• Customer focus is in your DNA.
• You are goal-oriented and have an eye for commercial opportunities that contribute to the success of the office.
• You are fluent with digital tools and enjoy staying abreast of the latest technological developments in the financial world.
• Honesty and trust are central to your dealings with customers; you always act in accordance with the bank's ethical standards.

Our client is a well-known major bank in Belgium. They currently have seven branches spread across East Limburg. Approximately 45 people work within these 7 branches and in various positions. Thanks to the vastness of the network, they can count on a nice customer base that is nevertheless locally anchored.
