Chief Accountant
Function
We are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our company's entire accounting cycle, including preparing financial reports, budgeting, and tax returns. You will also work closely with other departments to analyse financial data and make strategic recommendations to management.
- Supervision of the entire general ledger
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Preparation of payment lists
- Attending weekly management meetings
- Coordinate budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensuring compliance with tax and legal regulations
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Supervise and support the other 3 colleagues'of team Finance
- Analysing financial data and advising management
Profile
As Chief Accountant, you are/have:
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent through experience
- Experience in a similar position
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices and legislation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written in Dutch and English
- An eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and proactive work attitude
- Open-minded, transparent and collaborative.
