Chief Accountant
Function
As Chief Accountant you will be responsible for managing the entire accounting and financial management process. Your duties will include:
- Internal reporting and analysis of financial data
- Preparation and follow-up of year-end closing and budgets
- Handling VAT returns, Intrastat and other tax obligations
- Preparation of KFI's and cash flow management
- Conducting investment analyses
- Maintaining the UBO register
You will work closely with the central accounting department in Hungary and support local sales and distribution activities in Belgium, northern France and part of the Netherlands.
Profile
We are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant with:
- Experience in a similar role
- Independence and a high sense of responsibility
- Stress resistance and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS
- Good command of the Dutch, French and English languages
- Experience with ERP systems
- Team player with a proactive attitude and a flexible work ethic
