Fiber Network Designer

For the Fiber Network Designer position, you will join a growing company and be responsible for designing the fibre network.

In short:

• Designing and calculating requested fibre links or networks and mapping and calculating them.
• Ensuring mapping and calculation in customer registration systems.
• Ensuring quality preparation of tasks to ensure efficient execution.
• Listening carefully to the customer's requirements is essential in this respect.
• Assisting the customer with advice and offering answers to their questions.
• Delivering high quality work using the latest software.
• Working cost-consciously, effectively and efficiently throughout the entire project.
• Bearing responsibility for system processing, this includes converting network designs to customer systems and collecting and processing technical data from (customer-specific) network systems.

Who are we looking for for this Fiber Network Designer position?

• You have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Civil Engineering, or Industrial Design.
• You already have a first work experience as a designer in a relevant field
• You have a thorough knowledge of AutoCAD.
• You have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Specific knowledge of P2P (point to point) fibre network structures and "Cocon" is a significant advantage.
• You communicate fluently in English.
