What will you do as a Proposal Engineer?

• Support the sales team with the preparation and timely completion of detailed quotations and ensure proper follow-up.
• Responsible for technical calculations, taking into account working hours, required materials and risks; including post-calculations and margin calculations.
• Close cooperation with the purchasing department for price agreements and contract closures, and contact with departments such as project management and engineering.
• Assist sales managers and sales engineers in complex negotiations and go on site to provide proper project estimates.
• Proactively follow up on quotes and customer relationships to increase conversion rates and convert quotes into orders.
• Maintain contacts with prospects, customers and stakeholders and actively seek interesting opportunities.

Are we the perfect match?

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience in a similar position and a keen interest in energy/electricity.
• Strong numerical skills, well organised and working independently.
• Knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of Navision or Salesforce is a plus.
• Accurate, customer-oriented and flexible in responding to customer requirements.
• Fluent in Dutch, a knowledge of French and English is an advantage.
