Comissioning Engineer

As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be largely responsible for the following range of tasks:

• You will start and set up shuttles, lifts and conveyors on site at customers' premises.
• Your clients are mainly in Europe where you usually work 2-3 weeks on-site.
• You will be responsible for PLC software (Beckhoff) configuration and live testing.
• You will support end-users and integrators with level 1 and level 2 support, both on-site, by phone and via remote connection.
• You provide training where needed.
• You will participate in a 24/07 standby shift to resolve issues immediately. This amounts to once system where you will be on standby 1-2 weeks per year.
• You are hands-on and able to carry out minor repairs.

As a Commissioning Engineer, you will largely meet the following requirements:

• You have a bachelor's degree in engineering or are equivalent through experience.
• Recent graduates are certainly also welcome for this position.
• Projects abroad do not deter you. You will be abroad for 2-3 weeks at a stretch on average.
• You are willing to be flexible during the long days on location abroad.
• For some projects, you will be prepared to work at height or in refrigerated areas.
• You have an affinity for software.
• You are willing to be on standby 1-2 weeks a year 24/07 for your clients.
• You have a good knowledge of Dutch and English. Additional language skills are a plus, but not a must.
• You are fluent in MS office.
• You are customer-friendly and driven.
