For our client in Malle, we are looking for an experienced calculator in industrial construction.

Some of your tasks as a calculator:

• You study the projects to be realised in their administrative and technical aspects and in terms of execution possibilities and methods. The projects are situated both in general construction and in steel construction: industrial buildings, distribution centres, production halls, utility buildings, petrochemicals, silo batteries, etc.
• You draw up price requests, send them out to possible subcontractors and suppliers and analyse and compare the price offers that are subsequently made.
• Finally, you draw up a budget and offer for the customers.
• You will report to the person responsible for the calculation and will be part of an experienced team of calculators with whom you can spar.

For this vacancy of industrial building calculator we are looking for someone with the necessary experience and feeling with the sector.

Furthermore, you meet the following expectations for this vacancy:

• You have completed a higher education in architecture and have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• You have technical insight, analytical thinking skills and you are able to come up with creative out of the box solutions.
• You speak perfect Dutch. Knowledge of English, French and German are a plus.
• You are fluent in MS Office.
• Experience with Tekla is an additional asset.
• You work independently, have a strong sense of responsibility, and find it a challenge to help build a growing organisation.
• Furthermore, you work accurately, are goal-oriented and have strong communication skills.
