AP Accountant

As an AP accountant, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Entering purchase invoices
• Preparing and booking bank transactions and payments
• Accurately posting monthly journal entries to the general ledger
• Checking AP coding
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end closures
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements
• Managing small projects or supporting large projects

Our client is an international player including a Belgian branch in Sint-Niklaas where they operate with about 100 employees. At this site, they specialise in the production of filtration systems. Today, they are looking for an AP Accountant.

As an AP Accountant, you are/have:

• Minimum bachelor's degree in an accounting discipline or comparable through experience 
• Preferably 1-2 years' experience as an AP Accountant
• Skill in working with MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Fluent in Dutch and good knowledge of English
• Flexible team player with strong communication skills
