All-round bookkeeper
Function
As an All-round Bookkeeper, you will be the pivotal figure within the finance department and a key link between management and operational processes. You will work closely with external partners, and rely on the expertise within the current team. You will be responsible for:
- Processing purchase and sales invoices, financial transactions, miscellaneous entries and preparation of monthly and year-end closing;
- Execution of payments;
- Preparing and filing VAT returns;
- Support and advice on HR-related matters;
- Financial and business control;
- P&L and balance sheet analyses;
- Stock control;
- Margin analysis;
- Reporting to management, preparing budgets and forecasts;
- Support for audit controls;
- Actively thinking with the company.
Profile
As an All-round Bookkeeper, you are/have:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in economics;
- Several or more years of experience within finance department and specifically within accounting;
- Fluent in Dutch with a good knowledge of French;
- Strong knowledge of Excel;
- Hands-on, operationally strong and strategic;
- Positive and problem-solving mindset;
- Communicative skills and can easily adapt to various departments within the company;
- Assertive, not afraid to make mistakes and you have an entrepreneurial and goal-oriented attitude.
