Our client is currently urgently looking for accounting talent!

Their hobbyhorse is the work-life balance of their employees. So they think it is important that their employees do not take work home with them. Consequently, overtime here is virtually non-existent.

Another asset our client can present is the full training programme they offer. At start-up, you will be immersed in the wonderful world of a fiduciary. They like to invest in their employees and allocate €500 per person per year for external training.

A permanent contract on start-up is also provided for this vacancy.

You will work 39 hours a week, each time from 8.30am to 5pm with a half-hour lunch break. This means you will accrue 6 extra paid catch-up rest days on an annual basis.

Because you work in a B2B environment, you will have to perform little to no overtime. Although, of course, you will still be responsible for meeting any deadlines.

Function

As an Accounting Clerk, you will have a dual role: namely, you will provide support in both administration and accounting.

You are the office's first point of contact and will initially welcome customers and visitors in an enthusiastic manner. You also take incoming calls and connect callers to the right person.

In performing your duties, you will also be responsible for part of the accounting department:

  • You will be responsible for entering invoices and bank statements.
  • You will support the preparation of VAT returns.

Finally, you are also responsible for general administrative support to colleagues. On a daily basis, you will be responsible for filing, photocopying, processing mail, etc...

In short, you will end up in a position with a lot of variety.
