As a Bookkeeper for this company in the region of Arendonk, you can expect the following tasks within your package:

• You ensure accounting accuracy, integrity and compliance.
• Timely and accurate booking of transactions such as bank statements, sales invoices, various journal entries and intercompany transactions.
• Manage financial master data such as customers, suppliers and general ledger.
• Prepare interim results on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis based on an established cut-off procedure.
• Consolidation of figures to group level.
• Prepare and audit annual reporting i.c.w. our external local auditors.
• Updating, maintaining and correctly applying our transfer pricing arrangements.
• Support and provide data during annual audit.
• Prepare, review and file VAT returns, Intrastat reporting, mandatory surveys, tax calculation of BE companies and foreign entities in cooperation with external auditors, among others.
• Assist in VAT and/or tax return audits.

We are currently looking for a Bookkeeper to join the team for a well-known organisation in the Arendonk area. To fill this role in Arendonk, we are looking for the person who can identify with the following:

• You have at least a Bachelor's degree in an economic/financial field, complemented by at least 4-6 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment.
• Experience and solid knowledge within accounting, VAT and tax in an international context.
• Knowing something about transfer pricing is definitely a plus!
• You have good communication skills, spoken and written, in both Dutch and English. If you speak a word of German, that would be great!
• You have a healthy dose of hands-on mentality and draw energy from presenting company data correctly.
• You can ask critical questions and have strong analytical skills.
