Field Service Engineer

• As a Service Engineer Europe, you will carry out technical interventions on location (within the Benelux or occasionally abroad).
• Your clients are international, global and exciting companies from very different sectors: chemical, pharma, metal and food.
• You will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical installations within the explosion protection range. You assemble and dismantle electrical facilities.
• Besides keeping current installations operational, you will also be responsible for their renewal and expansion.
• Customers find their way to you with all kinds of technical questions. You will fully develop yourself technically as this role involves both maintenance technician and troubleshooting technician tasks.
• You will report to the Teamleader and join the Service Team with about 5 direct colleagues.

• You have a bachelor's degree in electricity or electromechanics. Additional training or experience in IT, VCA or process technology are an asset. A first experience in a similar position is a strong plus (may be in another sector). 
• You show you are customer-oriented and mature and you also have a healthy drive to achieve results. You are eager to learn and motivated to develop yourself into a technical expert. Solving technical issues and problems gives you great satisfaction. Furthermore, you are stress-resistant and flexible (no 9-to-5 job: you can be called up at night or during the weekend: for 1 week out of 5 you are on call). Going abroad on your own does not scare you off, on the contrary.
• Finally, you speak and write fluently in Dutch and English.
• You are in possession of a driving licence B.

This company is the specialist in rupture disc technologies, explosion protection, fire alarm systems and fire extinguishing solutions. They have multiple manufacturing sites in the US, Belgium, Wales, Canada and India.
