Cost Controller

As Cost Controller you will be responsible for accurately managing and analysing costs within this construction group's projects. You will ensure a solid financial foundation that enables project leaders to make strategic decisions and effectively manage their sites. Your duties will include the following:

• Monitoring budgets and costs during project implementation.
• Providing insight into current costs versus budgets.
• Perform progress checks and deliver accurate financial reports.
• Develop dashboards for management and project management.
• Achieve uniformity in financial reporting together with the team of cost controllers.
• Collaborate with project leaders for a strong end result through proper forecasting and cost control.
• Report to the Finance Director of the unit.

We are looking for the person with the following qualifications and experience to start work in the Kontich area:

• Master's degree in Accountancy/Taxation, Commercial Engineering or TEW.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in financial consultancy or within controlling.
• Experience as a project manager with an interest in cost controlling? This is definitely also a possibility!
• Extensive knowledge of accounting.
• Analytical ability combined with a hands-on communication style.
• Innovative look at reporting.
• Willingness to drive to sites on a regular basis.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel.
• Professional command of the Dutch language.

For a well-known construction company in the Kontich region, we are currently looking for an additional Cost Controller to strengthen the team. Due to the growth of one of the current cost controllers, there is a vacancy in the team. Within the organisation, you can fall back on an extensive finance department. As part of this position, you will regularly travel to the sites. This gives you the necessary variety but also allows you to stay in touch with what is going on behind your figures.
