E&I - Automation Engineer

As an E&I - Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for the following range of tasks:

• You manage overarching automation systems at various sites.
• You will be responsible for managing the E&I systems at various sites. These include the HS/LS cabs, frquence drives, UPS'en, HVAC, level meters, etc.
• You will be responsible for the long-term strategy regarding the automation systems and E&I. This in terms of networks, hardware and software.
• You will act as the point of contact for the E&I and automation installations.
• You ensure correct follow-up of various preventive inspection and maintenance programmes's and make adjustments where necessary.
• You will monitor the performance of various systems, lead RCA analyses and develop improvement opportunities where necessary.
• You do the periodic follow-up of the key contractors of automation and E&I. Your responsibilities also include managing the annual maintenance contracts with these contractors.
• You draft instructions and procedures related to new construction, maintenance and modification.
• You will advise the project department for larger extensions and new builds.
• You will support the commissioning of new installations and provide the necessary training.You will work out various matters concerning MOC's (from budgeting to realisation), or have this done by contractors, whereby you will be responsible for the follow-up.
• You make root cause analyses and formulate improvement proposals.
• You will participate in audits (customer, ISO, Seveso, insurance, etc.).
• You will advise and support the QHSE department in safety studies in the technical field.
• You will report to the chief maintenance.

For this role as an E&I - Automation Engineer, we are looking for the following profile: 

• You obtained a master's degree in a technical field.
• You have experience in similar position or as, for example, Maintenance Engineer.
• You have knowledge of Siemens PCS7.
• You have knowledge of industrial electrical installations and instrumentation.
• You speak good Dutch and English.
• You are proactive and use a clear and direct communication style.
• You set priorities and work in a structured way.
• You are a real problem solver.

Their terminals are located in the Port of Antwerp, where mainly petrochemical liquids are stored in large storage tanks. 

We are looking for an E&I - Automation Engineer for our client, specialised in oplsag of petrochemical liquids, in the Port of Antwerp.
