Automation Engineer

As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for engineering process control systems for various national and international projects within the chemical & food sector. You will integrate functional analyses of the project with the programming of PLC's, HMI panels and SCADA systems. You will also be responsible for commissioning installations on site at the customer's premises. For this position, you will travel approximately 30% on an annual basis.

As an Automation Engineer, you have the following profile:

• You have Bachelor/Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent through experience.
• Knowledge of electrical drawings is a plus.
• You have knowledge of PLC, preferably Siemens, Rockwell, SCADA.
• You are willing to travel abroad regularly (for short periods), approximately 30% on a yearly basis.
• You speak good Dutch and English.

This company is active in designing, building and installing process plants and material handling solutions in the chemical and food sectors worldwide. Their projects can have a lead time of 1 to 2 years and can amount to up to EUR 20 million. Furthermore, this company is part of a large international group. Nevertheless, within the company there is a friendly atmosphere where you know your colleagues's and there is room for your personal development. The head office is located in Kapellen, in the north of Antwerp. They also have branches in Thailand & America.

We are looking for an Automation Engineer for an international machine builder open to carry out projects abroad.
