Function

As an Environment & Water Project Planner, you act as the link between the planning and implementation of a wide range of projects relating to water management, environmental remediation and infrastructure works. Thanks to your organisational skills, projects run efficiently, safely and on schedule.

You’ll ensure that everything is prepared down to the last detail behind the scenes, so that the event can run smoothly on site.

  • Preparing and monitoring projects in the fields of environmental, water and infrastructure works.
  • Preparing and managing project files, schedules and technical documents.
  • Co-ordinating materials, equipment and subcontractors.
  • Requesting and comparing quotes.
  • Supporting project and site managers with day-to-day monitoring.
  • Monitoring budgets, deadlines and administrative processes.
  • Maintain contact with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identifying potential bottlenecks and proactively seeking solutions.
  • Helping to ensure quality, safety and environmental standards are upheld within the projects.

Profile

  • A technical qualification or relevant experience in infrastructure, environmental or water-related projects, or a strong interest in these areas, would certainly be an advantage.
  • Strong organisational skills and a structured approach to work.
  • Technical insight and the motivation to explore the field in greater depth.
  • Good communication skills and a hands-on mentality.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP or drawing software would be an advantage.
  • You work with attention to detail, take the initiative and keep a cool head when several projects are running at the same time.

Organisation

Our client is a well-established name in the field of soil, water and infrastructure solutions. Behind its professional image lies a financially sound organisation with a surprisingly close-knit, family-like culture.

No anonymous office corridors where nobody knows one another, but colleagues who work together on projects and are keen to support one another. Add to that interesting career progression opportunities, job security and an attractive remuneration package, and you have all the ingredients for a career built on solid foundations.

Offer

  • A varied role within a stable and growing organisation.
  • Projects that contribute to a sustainable living environment.
  • An experienced team that values knowledge-sharing and collaboration.
  • Opportunities for training, development and taking the initiative.
  • An attractive salary complemented by fringe benefits.
  • An open working environment where colleagues are happy to help one another and where there’s a good laugh every now and then.
  • No table tennis tournaments or daily latte art challenges, but colleagues who are there for one another and a remuneration package that means you can treat yourself after work.

Diversity and inclusion are important to CTRL-F.
Whoever, whatever or however you are or what you stand for, it is your talents that make the difference.
