Function

What is the day-to-day life of a technical draughtsman/work planner like at this company?

  • Based on the plans you receive, you will draw up clear diagrams that form the basis for quotations and production.
  • During project meetings, the stability plan is reviewed together with the client and translated into the appropriate technical approach.
  • Detailed drawings of welded structures are produced in 2D using AutoCAD as our trusted tool.
  • By providing instructions and complete sets of drawings, you will manage a team of five welders.
  • Materials are ordered in good time to ensure that the production process runs smoothly at all times.
  • When planning all welding work, you ensure that the correct sequence and a realistic schedule are followed.
  • Administrative tasks are carried out in Word and Excel; delivery notes and purchase orders form an important part of this.
  • Customers and suppliers are given a friendly welcome, both at the counter and over the phone.

Profile

Are you confident and self-assured in a team where responsibility is valued?

  • A bachelor’s degree in construction, a diploma in technical drawing or equivalent experience will provide the right technical foundation.
  • You’re adept at analysing plans, working out the figures and putting them into practice on the shop floor.
  • You have a flair for and a talent for drawing using 2D design programmes such as AutoCAD.
  • A thirst for learning, a sense of responsibility and punctuality are your strengths.
  • You take maintaining structure and clarity in administration, resources and planning for granted.
  • Do you enjoy managing people, communicating clearly and working well with your team?.
  • Switching between different tasks, even under time pressure, is no problem.
  • A good command of Dutch, both spoken and written; always respectful and collegial in their dealings with others.
