Work Planner
Function
As a Work Planner, you are an indispensable link in the smooth and qualitative progress of construction sites.
You ensure that all technical, administrative and organisational aspects are optimally prepared and monitored, both in the preparation phase and during execution.
Together with the Project Manager and/or Site Manager, you will monitor project progress and quality.
As a Work Planner, you will work directly on site, in an equipped site office. In this way, you stay close to the execution and maintain flexibility within a rather limited region where most projects are located, in the greater Brussels area.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring implementation and checking conformity with plans, specifications and technical regulations;
- Compile and manage the implementation file;
- Review, adjust and fine-tune execution and prefabrication plans;
- Preparation and refinement of measurement records and quantities;
- Coordinate with study agencies, suppliers and subcontractors;
- Prepare and follow up offers, price requests and tender files; Order materials in consultation with the Project Manager or Site Manager;
- Follow-up of structural work, facade finishing and roof structures;
- Help draw up and monitor site planning, with a focus on safety;
- Organising and following up quality controls, internal controls, pre-deliveries and completions;
- Keeping schedules up to date and supporting general coordination on site.
Profile
For this Work Planner position in the Brussels region, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications;
- Bachelor's or master's degree in construction engineering, industrial or civil engineer, architect, or equivalent through relevant experience in the construction industry;
- At least a first relevant experience within the construction industry, experience may have been built up in another technical or support role in the construction industry;
- Fluently bilingual Dutch and French;
- Technically strong: read plans fluently, understand and execute measurement statements, and understand construction techniques;
- Able to keep an overview of the various aspects of the site and follow them up correctly;
- Experience with planning tools (such as MS Project) and basic knowledge of financial monitoring;
- Structured, precise and strongly solution-oriented;
- Communicatively strong and a true team player;
- Motivated to continuously learn;
- Valid driving licence B.
