Work Planner

Location: Willebroek, Antwerp, Belgium Specialisation: Engineering Salary: € 3.400 - € 4.500 gross / month Contracttype: Job option fixed Hours: 40 hrs/week Work ritme: Day

Function

  • As a Work Planner, you convert approved quotations and designs into a complete, technically accurate production preparation for modular buildings.
  • Technical plans are checked by you for dimensions, feasibility and coherence. Where necessary, you elaborate on details further in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • You translate each project into a clear materials list, production drawings and handover documents. This information forms the basis for purchasing, assembly and a smooth production start.
  • Project-specific materials, accessories and custom work are carefully described and ordered via the ERP environment. You request prices, create purchase orders and actively monitor delivery lead times.
  • As a Production Coordinator, you liaise daily with project management, development, planning, suppliers and internal subcontractors. This ensures that the preparation aligns with what production actually requires.
  • You are the technical point of contact for production staff regarding your project files and discuss complex orders with colleagues before production begins.
  • Even after the handover, you continue to monitor the process. When plans, materials or deliveries are at risk of being delayed, you take initiative and make adjustments with a feasible technical solution.
  • You work primarily from Willebroek and travel regularly to a production site in the Netherlands for consultations and coordination.

Profile

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in construction, mechanical engineering or a related technical field, or you possess equivalent, broad construction knowledge through relevant experience of approximately 3 to 5 years.
  • A general knowledge of construction processes is important: you can assess plans, materials, production and assembly as a whole rather than solely from one technical discipline.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM drawing, preferably AutoCAD and/or Revit, helps you to work out technical details accurately and make designs production-ready.
  • Accuracy and administrative discipline are essential, as your input has a direct impact on orders, planning and production. You maintain an overview when multiple projects are running simultaneously.
  • You communicate clearly, work independently and are not afraid to propose decisions or improvements. Assertiveness and resilience under pressure help you to reach a workable solution with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Organisation

This modular construction company, with almost 100 years of experience, is known for its innovation and circular building methods. They realise modular building solutions and deliver hospitals, schools, residential care centres, office buildings, high-end cleanrooms and residential neighbourhoods of the future. Thanks to their own pre-production factory, the company can guarantee fast turnaround times for all projects.

These modular buildings excel in flexibility: expanding, modifying or even relocating is all possible. With a wide range of applications, from temporary use to long-term deployment, modular buildings offer unparalleled possibilities.

Offer

  • A gross monthly salary between €3,400 and €4,500, depending on your relevant experience, qualifications and responsibilities within the role.
  • A permanent contract of indefinite duration and a clear package including meal vouchers of €10 per day worked and eco-vouchers of up to €250 per year, pro rata in the year of commencement.
  • Group and hospitalisation insurance, a smartphone with subscription and the possibility of bicycle leasing.
  • 12 paid ADV days on top of your statutory holiday entitlement. You plan your holiday days freely; between Christmas and New Year there is a collective closure.
  • You will join a small, experienced team with support during your onboarding. As a Production Coordinator, you will have the space to take initiative, develop technical solutions and take on responsibility independently.
