Site Manager Piping

Function

As Site Manager Piping, you are the practical right-hand of the project manager and ensure that the works are carried out safely, to a high standard and according to schedule: You monitor the progress, quality and safe execution of piping works on industrial sites.

• You manage a team of up to five employees, divide the work, and ensure clear agreements are in place.
• Where required, you actively contribute to the fitting and TIG welding of pipes and pipe supports.
• You read technical drawings and isometric plans and translate these into a practical working approach.
• You ensure that the correct materials and components are available in a timely manner.
• You follow up on the administration of completed works and report important information to the project manager.
• You monitor technical quality and intervene when execution, dimensions, or material use do not meet expectations.
• Based in Merelbeke, you work on industrial sites in East and West Flanders, Antwerp, Flemish Brabant, and Brussels, among others.

Profile

We are looking for a technically strong candidate who enjoys taking responsibility and wishes to develop further as a site supervisor:

• You preferably have at least 1 year of experience in industrial piping, for example in the food industry, chemicals, or petrochemicals.
• You can read and interpret technical drawings and isometric plans with ease.
• You have experience with fitting and TIG welding, or are motivated to develop further in this area.
• Some prior experience in supervising colleagues is a bonus. Even if you are ready to take this step for the first time, you will receive the necessary guidance.
• You are practically minded, think ahead, and communicate clearly.
• You can carry out straightforward administrative follow-up and have a basic knowledge of PC applications.
