Site Manager Construction

Function

As site manager, you oversee the day-to-day operations of one or more projects and ensure that everything on site is well organised and runs smoothly. You act as the fixed point of contact between the project manager, operational staff, subcontractors and suppliers. You always work with due regard for safety, the environment, quality and timely handover.

• You help determine short- and medium-term staffing requirements and align these with the site schedule.
• You prepare the works on a daily basis and manage the operational site personnel.
• You maintain contact with the client, architect and design department and take part in site meetings.
• You safeguard quality, safety and environmental regulations and ensure these are also adhered to on site.
• You check the work carried out and monitor progress closely.

Profile

• You have completed a construction-related degree at university or bachelor level.
• You can demonstrate relevant experience in a similar context.
• As the central point of contact on site, you combine a solution-oriented approach with strong communication skills and a clear presence.
• You work proactively and have a strong feel for planning, organising and quality.
• Knowledge of common MS Office applications and a solid foundation in French and English will serve you well in your day-to-day work.
