Function

Are you a night owl with a passion for logistics? If Transport planner Night You’ll be the linchpin of our logistics operations, based in the bustling town of Bornem. You’ll ensure that transport flows run smoothly, even in the quiet of the night. Your duties will include, amongst other things:

• Operational planning: Planning efficient routes and loading schedules for lorries or vans.
• Coordination with charter flights: Maintaining contact with external hauliers and drivers.
• Troubleshooting: The ability to adapt the schedule quickly and effectively in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
• Compliance with legislation: Ensure that driving and rest times are strictly adhered to.
• Customer and fleet management: Optimising customer satisfaction and vehicle usage.

In this role, you’ll work closely with various departments, and you’ll be the one who spots the opportunities in every challenge. You’ll be expected to combine working independently with a critical eye, even in the evenings.

Profile

To be eligible as Transport planner Night, we ask the following:

• Experience: At least 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in transport planning or a similar role.
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience, preferably in logistics or supply chain management.
• Computer skills: Experience with planning software and MS Office is essential.
• Language skills: Fluency in Dutch and English is required. French would be an advantage.
• Availability: Willingness to work night shifts (21:00–05:00 or 22:00–06:00).
• Stress-resistant: The ability to adapt quickly and remain efficient under pressure.
