Container transport planner

Function

For the Container Transport Planner vacancy, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Together with your colleague and the head planner, you will be responsible for the planning and supervision of 45 drivers across the Benelux
• You’ll be in touch with customers and drivers so that you can react quickly if necessary
• You enter all the details correctly into their software system (Cargo) so that your colleagues are kept up to date
• At the moment, you’re working normal daytime hours, but later on you’ll switch to a rota system: 7.00–15.00 and 11.00–19.00

Profile

For the Container Transport Planner vacancy, you should recognise yourself in the following competencies:

• You’ve had your first positive experience as a planner
• You have knowledge of container transport
• You can express yourself professionally in Dutch and English
• You can cope well under pressure and are good at keeping track of things

Our client is a family-run transport company with several branches in Belgium. They currently employ around 150 drivers, enabling them to provide bespoke services to their customers.
