Transport planner

Function

For the job of transport planner at our client, you will be responsible for the creation of a flawless transport planning in Belgium, in addition to the following tasks:

• You monitor the daily planning and make adjustments where necessary;
• You are the point of contact for the drivers;
• Using the loading lists, you check whether all goods have left the previous day;
• You welcome drivers and direct them to the right quay;
• You liaise with customers in case of changes or problems;
• You will be responsible for administrative tasks such as sorting pallet receipts and waybills.

Profile

For the job of transport planner, we are looking for the following profile:

• You have a bachelor's degree;
• Experience in the logistics sector is an asset, but more important is your drive to keep the planning running smoothly every day;
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and can get by in French and English;
• You work accurately and think in solutions;
• You have a strong sense of responsibility and ensure that planning is carried out correctly and on time;
• You can handle time pressure well and have a flexible attitude.
