Function
For our client in Diepenbeek We are looking for a Transport and Customs Officer.
Are you a logistics whizz with experience in transport planning and customs documentation? Then we’ve found the perfect job for you! As a Transport and Customs Officer:
- You play a crucial role in organising incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Draw up all the relevant customs documents.
- You’ll work closely with production, the warehouse, sales and external partners.
- You will ensure that maritime and road transport operations run smoothly.
- You’ll be the point of contact for drivers and visitors. In short, you’ll be the linchpin of the logistics operation.
Profile
For the position of Transport and Customs Officer at our client’s premises in Diepenbeek We are looking for a motivated team player who:
- Has at least 3–5 years’ experience in transport planning/logistics administration.
- Is familiar with customs documents such as EXA, EAD and CMR.
- Can cope well under pressure and work to tight deadlines.
- Takes the initiative, is proactive and can suggest improvements.
- Has excellent communication skills, in both Dutch and English.
- Has commercial acumen and can come up with solutions when the situation calls for it.
- Handson is not afraid to get to grips with complex logistical challenges.

Our client is an internationally oriented Belgian family-run business operating in the drinks industry. The company develops and distributes a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and has a strong presence in export markets, with a clear ambition for further international growth.
Offer
For the position of Transport and Customs Officer offers our client in Diepenbeek the following package:
- A gross salary based on experience of between €3,000 and €4,000.
- Eco-vouchers with a maximum value of €250 per year.
- Group and hospitalisation insurance.
- 13th month.
- A full-time contract based on a 38-hour working week.
- A role within an international and multicultural working environment where colleagues are occasionally treated to a visit from a chips or ice-cream van
