Mechanics Technician

Function

• Perform preventive and curative maintenance on mechanical installations such as pumps, valves, pipes and compressors.
• Help ensure the safe docking and unmooring of vessels at terminal facilities.
• Detecting and resolving technical malfunctions of plant and equipment.
• Support technical modifications and improvements to existing installations.
• Preparation of maintenance and intervention reports.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure safe and efficient operation of facilities.

Profile

• You have an A2 degree or bachelor's degree in Electromechanics or equivalent technical training.
• Initial relevant experience is a plus, but motivated school leavers will also be considered.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems is an asset.
• Experience in welding carbon steel and stainless steel, as well as turning and milling, is a strong plus.
• You work accurately, are communicative and function both independently and as part of a team.
• Your command of Dutch is fluent.
• You have a driving licence B.
