Technical Sales Engineer

Function

What will you do?

• You act as the link between the client and the project engineer: your job is to turn technical and complex price requests into detailed and attractive quotations
• Your maintains close contact with suppliers, purchasing department colleagues, field sales agents, logistics, engineering and so on.
• After preparing the quotation you will work together with a technical expert or sales manager towards the customer.
• You will receive the quote defend and technically explain. In addition, you will participate in the commercial negotiations. This means that you will occasionally work (inter-)nationally travel.
• After sale: you are the point of contact for your fellow Project Engineer, when he will coordinate the project in the execution phase.

Profile

What makes you the ideal candidate for this position?

• You have a Master's degree in industrial engineering or a Bachelor in a relevant technical field with at least some work experience
• You have the motivation, a proactive work attitude and are technically proficient
• You have analytical thinking skills
• You are fluent in Dutch and English. Knowledge of German and/or French is a plus

Engineering is done in-house, as is production.
