Function

As Technical Expert, you are a crucial link for the study and technical elaboration of projects involving lightning protection, earthing systems and surge protection in both the industrial and tertiary sectors. Thanks to your technical expertise and accuracy, you contribute to the reliability, continuity and safety of the projects.

• Studies & Technical Analysis
  • Performing risk analyses around lightning protection, earthing and surge protection.
  • Drafting technical studies and advising on optimal security solutions.
  • Preparation of plans and designs for works to be carried out.
• Quotations & project support
  • Preparation of quotations based on plans, specifications and technical requirements.
  • Support the study department with your technical and theoretical knowledge.
• Site visits (about 10%)
  • Conducting site visits to identify risks and correctly assess needs.
  • Advising clients on possible solutions for both existing buildings and new construction projects.

Profile

For the position of Technical Expert, we are looking for someone with:

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Construction Engineering or equivalent through experience.
• Knowledge of technical software such as AutoCAD 2D and Revit is a plus.
• A thorough command of basic technical principles such as Ohm's law and being able to read scale drawings.
• Affinity with electromechanical systems and interest in lightning protection.
• Strong communication skills, both in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is an asset.
• A structured and patient attitude, with an eye for detail.
• Interested in building specialist knowledge and taking pride in it.

Junior candidates are welcome, provided they are willing to invest in themselves and have the right technical baggage.
