Technical Draughtsman

Function

As a Technical Draughtsman, you will play a key role in translating innovative concepts into detailed technical designs and models. You will work closely with the design and production teams, with a specific focus on modular housing and steel structures. By using Vertex and other relevant software, you will help to create accurate drawings that optimise construction processes. Your expertise enables our client to push boundaries and stand out within the sector.

Profile

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Proven experience in BIM modelling and technical draughting.
• Extensive knowledge of Vertex and, preferably, experience with Vectorworks.
• Knowledge of dry construction methods and steel structures.
• Skilled in creating presentation drawings in collaboration with a design team. A background in architecture is a major plus.
• Proactive, self-motivated and skilled at solving technical challenges independently.
• Sharp analytical skills and attention to detail.
• A passion for engineering, with knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing and structural steelwork.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Willingness to be present at our site in Houthalen-Helchteren on a daily basis, due to the close links with the production department.
• Preferably relevant work experience in a similar role within the construction sector.
• An open-minded approach to professional development and an interest in new technologies and methodologies within BIM.
