Technical Draughtsman

Function

• You will analyse projects in collaboration with the sales manager and translate the client’s requirements into technical solutions.
• You will create 3D concept drawings in Inventor based on plans and technical specifications.
• You take into account building regulations, feasibility and the choice of materials.
• You will discuss designs with clients and internal stakeholders and incorporate any changes.
• You will be producing technical drawings for production and the procurement of materials.
• You will assist with project preparation and ensure that technical documentation is accurate.
• You will maintain regular contact with those in charge in the production environment to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
• You will work closely with colleagues in the design department and the sales team.

Profile

• You have a technical qualification as a technical draughtsman, or have gained equivalent experience.
• You have a strong technical understanding and good spatial awareness.
• You have experience with the Inventor CAD software.
• You enjoy working independently and take responsibility for your projects.
• You can handle stress and keep a clear overview, even when working on several projects at once.
• You work accurately and have an eye for detail.
• You communicate easily with both colleagues and customers.
• An interest in bespoke construction or the construction industry would be an advantage.
