Technical Draftsman/Work Planner
Function
As a Work Planner/Technical Draftsman, you play a key role within the organisation. With your expertise, you ensure that production runs smoothly. You are responsible for converting sales files into complete production files, including detailed drawings and plans. Your tasks include:
- Preparing execution plans and production drawings (mainly in 3D).
- Converting a sales file into a production file and placement file.
- Checking stock and preparing orders.
- Ensuring that all project files are complete and correct, working closely with the production manager.
- Working with work preparation, production managers and project leaders.
Profile
We are preferably looking for someone who already has initial work experience and enjoys working in a team. To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Preferably have a bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.
- Ideally already a first experience in a similar role.
- Experience and knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, TopSolid or SolidWorks.
- Skills in using Office programmes such as Word and Excel.
- Working experience within a metal or mechanical engineering environment is a strong plus.
- A solution-oriented mindset and an eye for detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- You are willing to start early between 6.30am and 7am.
Organisation
Our client is a Belgian family business based in Meise, specialising in shopfitting and customised refrigeration solutions for the food sector. From a strong in-house production environment, they design, manufacture and assemble high-quality refrigeration furniture and interior projects for bakeries, butchers and supermarkets, among others. Keeping design, production, installation and maintenance fully in-house ensures quality, flexibility and innovative customised solutions, with a strong focus on energy efficiency and craftsmanship. To expand the team, they are currently looking for a technical draughtsman/work planner.
