Function

For the position of technical sales representative, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Provide support to the field sales representative in both commercial and administrative areas, with the aim of jointly generating sales.
• Analysing specifications, preparing and following up offers.
• Provide technical information and advice on products and lighting solutions to both existing and potential customers.
• Participate in weekly meetings with field staff to discuss ongoing trajectories.
• Manage and expand relationships with customers, including installers, engineering firms, architects and industrial partners.

Besides these duties, the position also includes various administrative tasks, such as preparing, archiving project files and preparing orders for smooth execution of projects.

Profile

As a technical sales representative, we are looking for someone who:

• Fluent in French and Dutch, with a good knowledge of English and preferably German.
• Experience with CRM systems, SAP and preferably Dialux. Knowledge of Autocad is a plus.
• Has experience in a similar position in the lighting industry and is passionate about the technical aspect of products and/or lighting.
• Shows initiative, has a sense of responsibility and creatively seeks solutions.
• Possesses strong empathy, is able to plan and organise well, and is solution-oriented.
