Team Leader, Electrical Engineering
Function
As Team Leader Electrical Engineering, you will manage a team of eight engineers and be responsible for the further development and optimisation of the department. You will combine technical expertise with a coaching style of leadership and ensure efficient collaboration between different disciplines.
- Leading, coaching and developing the Electrical Engineering team.
- Planning the work and setting short- and long-term priorities.
- Ensuring the quality and consistency of electrical and pneumatic designs.
- To provide technical support on complex issues and optimisation projects.
- Coordinating collaboration between Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Production and other engineering departments.
- Monitoring and optimising workflows, processes and efficiency.
- Monitoring KPIs and translating team objectives into concrete actions.
- Encouraging knowledge-sharing, training and continuous improvement within the team.
- Work closely with the other engineering team leads and report directly to the Head of Engineering.
Profile
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field.
- Several years’ experience in electrical engineering.
- Experience in a managerial or coaching role is a major asset.
- In-depth knowledge of EPLAN and eBuild.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organisational skills and a structured approach to work.
- A coaching leadership style combined with decisiveness and clear communication.
- An interest in automation, process optimisation and working efficiently.
- You’ll be able to keep track of things in a project-based environment and take the initiative.
- An excellent command of Dutch and a good working knowledge of English.
