Stability Engineer
Function
Are you ready to work independently on projects and play a crucial role in the delivery of various projects across Flanders? As a Structural Engineer, you will have the opportunity to oversee and complete challenging projects such as private homes and sports halls. Within this growing organisation, which specialises in structural engineering, building services, sustainability, and maintenance & management, you will:
- Carry out and monitor stability studies independently.
- Maintain contact with customers and provide solutions tailored to their needs.
- To play an active role in site visits and their follow-up.
- Hold team meetings and take ownership of your cases.
Their approach is personalised and people-centred, and they are looking for a new colleague who identifies with this, preferably with a background as an architectural engineer or a civil engineer specialising in structural engineering.
Profile
To make an impact on our ambitious projects, you’ll need to bring the following to the table:
- A degree in Architectural Engineering or Civil/Industrial Engineering.
- Preferably 0 to 3 years’ work experience in a similar role.
- The ability to read and interpret building plans (you may be able to draw yourself, but this is not a requirement).
- Knowledge of software packages such as Diamonds, AutoCAD, Revit and SIA is a major advantage.
- A customer-focused and people-centred approach, combined with strong communication skills.
More important than your qualifications are your passion for stability studies and your people-centred approach to teamwork and customer service.
Organisation
Our client specialises in the design and supervision of building-specific projects, ranging from private homes to sports halls. You’ll be involved in projects across Flanders and, by extension, Wallonia. However, you’ll mainly manage these from the very quiet office located on the outskirts of Antwerp. A traffic-free location and brilliant colleagues!
Offer
What do you get in return?
- A company car from the outset or after six months for new businesses.
- Meal vouchers worth 10 EUR per day.
- Group insurance and net expense allowance.
- Hospitalisation insurance, including for family members.
- A laptop and mobile phone provided for professional use.
- Flexible benefits such as a bike leasing scheme or a gym membership, because a healthy mind in a healthy body is important.
