Project manager steel construction

Function

  • You participate in the preparation: you analyse customer questions and work on a clear project plan.
  • You set a feasible schedule and organise everything practically.
  • You coordinate teams and subcontractors; everyone knows what is expected.
  • You motivate and support your team.
  • You monitor quality, timing and budget.
  • You liaise with customers and other stakeholders to ensure everyone is well informed.
  • You will ensure safe, correct and environmentally conscious working on site and in the workshop.

Profile

  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent experience.
  • A degree as a steel coordinator or welding engineer is a plus.
  • You enjoy taking responsibility and get energy from driving projects.
  • You make contacts easily and work independently.
  • You have an interest in steel construction and engineering projects.
  • You work accurately and in a structured way, paying attention to timing, quality, budget and safety.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch, both with colleagues and with customers and suppliers.

Organisation

Our client is active in hydraulic engineering and belongs to a group of 10 companies where 'water' is the common thread. Within hydraulic engineering, they operate as a class 8 contractor. They currently have a team of about 130 employees and are still growing. As equipment manager, you are part of the internal department and contribute to its further development and strategy.
