Stability Engineer

Function

Are you a creative problem solver who is not afraid to play with a calculator? As a Stability Engineer at our organisation, you will work on challenging projects in industrial and office construction, all from our cosy office. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, analysis and optimisation of structures that are sturdy enough to carry an elephant (but hopefully never have to!). You will work closely with architects, project managers and other engineers to ensure safety and durability with your expertise. Oh yes, and you may occasionally ask impossible questions, such as: 'Can this building survive an earthquake?'.

Profile

You are the ideal candidate if you:

• Have a degree in engineering sciences, preferably with specialisation in stability.
• Have 0-3 years of experience within a similar role - starters are more than welcome!
• Excels in analytical thinking and works with precision as if you were a Swiss watchmaker.
• Familiar with calculation programmes such as AutoCAD, SCIA Engineer, and/or Tekla.
• Possess excellent communication skills - speaking Dutch like a Limburger is nice.
• Be a team player who can also work independently (and share snacks during breaks).
• Ready to contribute to innovative and sustainable construction projects.
